Students in Altha School’s Culinary Department worked diligently to prepare a meal like no other on September 24th. Cats’ Cuisine, Altha’s community based meal, prepared a dish the likes of which many are not accustomed to. Being the first meal of the year, students put forth maximum effort to ensure that the name “Cats’ Cuisine” was remembered by their community. Preparing traditional Japanese cuisines such as Miso Soup, Beef and Broccoli, Fried Rice, and a classic Japanese Cheesecake, the students out did themselves. Not only did students provide excellent food but the atmosphere was one unrivaled by any other. The students worked hard to create a full immersion and turned the entire room into a high end, Japanese Steak House. All in all, the first Cats’ Cuisine of the school year was a complete success! Members of the community, students, and staff are looking forward to the next meal on October 29th. With that being said, the culinary department is going digital! All orders are now placed through the school website, althaschool.org. Look for the Cats’ Cuisine tab on the left!
