The winners of the Elementary Division of the Tropicana Public Speaking Contest were:

1st place-Carleigh Shuff-Mayo from Carr Elementary and Middle School

2nd place-Heath Sims from Altha Public School

3rd place-Jada Coleman from Blountstown Elementary School

Tropicana, Inc. and 4-H/University of Florida IFAS Extension Service sponsor this wonderful program which has brought the art of public speaking into Florida classrooms since 1969.

Whitney Cherry, University of Florida IFAS Extension Calhoun County 4-H Agent congratulates every student who participated and told the students, “You are all winners for being able to speak before your classmates, family, and friends.”
